A lot of us are moving full speed ahead leaving 2020 in the dust, well NYC didn’t go into lockdown until March last year so Valentine’s Day was, in reality, the last normal holiday before COVID came in for a visit. Indo, my 6-year-old Yorkie loves spending so much time with me, it’s his new norm. He uses every opportunity to make me smile so I’ve decided to pamper him this Valentine’s Day weekend.
One thing for certain is your dog loves you every day and Valentine’s Day love just makes the time even more special.
Here are 10 Ways to enjoy Valentine’s Day with your Dog, even in a pandemic.
1. Enjoy a movie together.
Use the time to lay around and enjoy a movie with your dog. Some love movie I adore is Sylie’s Love, if you haven’t seen this movie I highly recommend it along with The Notebook.

2. Make a donation to an animal shelter in your pups name
Your pup is so lucky to have you, however many pups don’t have a forever home you can share the love by making a donation in your pet’s name.
3. Make them their favorite treat
Since it’s Valentine’s Day you might as well pamper them with their favorite dessert. Ben + Jerry recently started selling ice cream if you’re looking for something new to try. You can also click here to find some recipes.

I like to call Youtube the video academy. You can find tons of free videos that will teach you how to teach your pup something new.

Get into some festive gear, or matching colors and snap some flicks. You can use your favorite sheet as a backdrop, set the timer on your phone and shoot. You can even use the pictures for a postcard
