May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time when we spotlight mental health and the importance of self-care. As the seasons change, our moods can also fluctuate, and the same can be true for our furry companions. In the coming weeks, I will be sharing tips on how to manage low moods and support our pets during their/our downtimes. I believe it's important to talk about depression because it's a challenge I've personally faced for years, and my service dog, Indo, has been a tremendous source of support during my darkest and brightest days.
